Our popular weekly group for children aged 7+, combining acting, dance, creativity and performance in a fun and supportive environment.

What happens at Dance & Drama?

 

Every session is a little different. We combine acting and theatre games, performance techniques, character work, dance and rehearsals.

 

Our original shows are written specifically for the group, giving children opportunities to take on roles that suit their confidence and help them develop at their own pace.

Three opportunities to perform each year

MARCH

 

Friends & Family Showcase

 

A relaxed performance where we focus on developing techniques, trying new ideas and sharing what the children have been learning.

 

JULY

 

Biddulph Festival Production

 

A full ticketed production as part of the Biddulph Festival, giving the group the experience of performing a complete show for a public audience.

 

DECEMBER

 

Christmas Production

 

Our ticketed Christmas production brings the group together for another full performance to round off the year.

A place to grow in confidence

 

You don't need previous theatre or dance experience to be part of Staged.

 

Some children arrive ready to get straight on stage, while others need more time and encouragement. We work with each child so they can contribute, try new things and develop their confidence at their own pace.

 

We are committed to making our activities as inclusive and accessible as possible. If your child has additional needs or there is anything that would help them take part, please talk to us about how we can support them.

When the full term is paid in advance

 

Our discounted term rate rewards regular commitment and helps us plan effectively for rehearsals and productions.

 

If paying for the term is difficult, please speak to us in confidence. We want to support families wherever we can.
